That changed dramatically in August 2026.
A leaker or group operating under the name Cyberleek has reportedly released gameplay footage, screenshots, map information, and other material allegedly originating from an unreleased GTA 6 development build.
And unlike the blurry rumors and questionable screenshots that have circulated over the years, the newest material appears to show a surprisingly complete version of the game.
The result is one of the biggest pre-release GTA 6 controversies since the massive 2022 development footage leak.
